Properties of G.657 optical fibers used in fiber-optic access networks

摘要 文章首先根据光纤接入网的建设特点,提出了研究弯曲不敏感单模光纤(ITU-T G.657光纤)的必要性,然后阐述了G.657光纤的结构特点和性能参数,概括了G.657A光纤和G.657B光纤的不同用途,最后对G.657光纤与G.652光纤的模场直径、截止波长和弯曲损耗等性能参数进行了比较。 This paper first presents the necessity of studying bending loss-insensitive single mode fibers (ITU-T G. 657) on the basis of the features of access network construction. Then it describes their structural features and property parameters and briefly summarizes the different uses of G. 657A and G657B fibers. Finally, it compares them in property parameters, such as mode field diameter, cut-off wavelength and bending loss.
