The East Asian Cooperation from the Perspective of the New Regionalism

当前东亚区域合作的发展主要还是以现实主义的权力和利益为基础的竞争性地区主义,这也是东亚地区主义制度化发展的重要障碍。以平等协商、互利合作为价值观的东亚新地区主义为东亚合作提供了新的动力。同时,东亚合作的进一步深化也要求东亚各国打破传统现实主义权力制衡的牢笼,共同构建符合各方利益的"东亚共同体"。

At present, the regional cooperation development of East Asia still lies in competitive regionalism which is based on the realistic potence and profits of different countries, while which is also the major obstacle to develop the regionalism of the East Asia as a system. But the new East Asia regionalism based on the value of consulting with equality and cooperating with mutual benefit is providing a new trend to the East Asian cooperation. Meanwhile, the further development of the East Asian cooperation also demands all relative countries should break the limitation of the traditional realistic power and then build an ＂East Asian Community＂ which will satisfy all the relative countie＇ s benefits.
