Chinese Economy and Its Worldwide Influence in the Era of Globalization

全球化进程决定了中国经济的高度开放,造就了双重资本积累模式,即内资主导的工业化城市化积累和外资主导的全球低端制造平台积累。这一模式加速了中国经济增长,同时削弱了经济自主。反过来,中国对世界经济造成了多方面影响,包括改变劳资利益格局,推动各国产业重组,改变金融市场结构,加强中美金融依赖等,这些影响随着中国的经济增长和结构升级将日趋显著。因此,中国必须立足内需实现可持续增长,并依靠技术创新来控制资源和环境成本。

The globalization process contributes fundamentally to the highly opening up of Chinese economy and shapes its double capital accumulation model,namely capital accumulation derived from industrialization and urbanization dominated by domestic capital and that from the positioning of global low-end manufacturing platform of China mainly under the sway of foreign capital.While accelerating Chinese economic growth,this model also weakens its economic sovereignty.On the other side,China impacts on world economy in multiple aspects,such as changing income distribution between capital and labor,promoting industrial restructuring of involved countries,recasting financial market structure,and intensifying financial interdependence between China and US.Along with its economic growth and industrial upgrading,China's affects on world economy will be more and more prominent.Under such circumstances,there is no mistaking for China to have to depend than ever on domestic demand to sustain economic growth and on technological progress to contain the costs of resources and environment in the coming future.
