万斯同《历代史表》考察

A Review on the Annals of Past Dynasties by Wan Si-tong

史表在正史中占有重要地位,遗憾的是,历代正史大多缺表,清初著名史学家万斯同的《历代史表》填补了这一空白,以极少篇幅囊括尽可能多的历史内容,体现了作者经世致用的思想和正统观念,并且开创了清代补表先河,极大地丰富了史书内容,功不可没。

The annals are playing a great role in official history.However,it was a pity that most official historical works lack annals.In early Qing Dynasty,the famous historian Wan Si-tong filled up the gap by his book The A nnals of Past Dynasties.This work covered abundant historical contents in the least space,showed the author＇s Practical Knowledge thoughts and orthodox ideas,opened the earlier rivers for supplementing Annals,and enriched historical contents.His achievements are undeniable.
