Elements in Constructing Harmonious Higher Education Institutes

落实科学发展观、建设社会主义和谐校园是高等院校党委的责任。建设社会主义和谐校园,必须认真研究和把握和谐校园的组成要素以及它们之间的联系。高等学校要建设社会主义和谐校园,必须具备党委坚强有力、学校发展呈良好势头、民主治校得到落实、校园安全稳定、形成校园文化这几项要素。

It is a duty of Party Committees of colleges and universities in China to practice the concept of scientific development and to construct socialist harmonious university campuses. In order to build a harmonious campus, we must study and master the primary elements of the project and the relations among them. These primary elements include a strong leadership of the Party committees, a strong impetus of forward development, a democratic administration, a save and secure campus, and a campus culture of its own.
