论大学英语听说教学与应用型人才的培养

Listening & Speaking in College English Teaching and the Cultivation of Applied Talents

培养应用型人才是当今中国社会发展对教育的要求。大学教师根据学校定位适时转变教学观念、改进教学策略是高校发展至关重要的事情。大学英语教学的目标是培养学生英语的综合应用能力,特别是听说能力。因此,加强大学生英语听说能力的培养已成为我国大学英语教学的一个重要课题。应从应用型人才培养的角度出发,着重探讨如何改进大学英语听说教学,提高学生的英语听说水平。

Cultivating applied talents in colleges and universities meet the demand of the rapid development of the present-day Chinese society. It is essential for college teachers to change their teaching concepts and improve their teaching strategies according to the current situation of English teaching at colleges and universities in China. College English teaching aims at cultivating an integrated ability of using English language, especially the skills of listening and speaking. A special attention has been paid in this paper to discuss how to improve the teaching of listening and speaking and promote students＇ applied talents in learning English
