关注小人物的生活及命运,是中外文学艺术创作的重要母题之一。白先勇的《那片血一般红的杜鹃花》和屠格涅夫的《木木》就是这一类作品。文章试图通过对这两个文本的对比阅读,揭示作品中两个小人物的悲剧命运,同时也试图探析隐藏在作品背后的不同创作思想和艺术追求。

Paying attentions on the life and fate of nonentity is also one of important motifs of literary and artistic creations in China and aboard. By contrasfly reading ＂The blood -colored azalea flower＂ and ＂mu mu＂, this thesis try to reveal the tragic fate of two nonentities ,and explore the different creative thoughts and artistic pursues which are hidden behind the works.
