This article makes a description of the erection features, methods and technology of the rigid arches and flexible beams of the continuous steel trussed arch bridges. It fills in a gap which has hitherto existed in the railway engineering norms and provides experience to be drawn on in the design, construction and budget rating of high speed railways in our country.
