This article gives a description on the development of the relation among Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism before Song dynasty, and an analysis of the results. The cultural affairs, which took place in the Chinese cultural background, have given a typical example for different cultures＇ comprehending and living together amicably mutually from the opposite value to the value of approbation, therefore it is the topic that is worthy of researching.
