The Explorations and Practices of Deng Xiaoping about the CPC’s Policy on Ethnic Affairs in the Youjiang Revolutionary Base

邓小平在领导百色起义和创建右江革命根据地过程中,根据右江地区的民族特点,采取了一系列体现党的民族政策措施,制定并实施正确的政策,创造性地开展工作,成功地解决了根据地的民族问题和民族关系,为党的民族理论和民族政策的创立和初步形成作了非常有益的探索。

While leading the Baise Uprising and establishing the Youjiang Revolutionary Base, Deng Xiaoping carried out a series of measures which reflected the CPC＇ s policy on ethnic affairs and were in accordance with the features of the nationalities in the Youjiang area. He worked with creativity, formulated and put into effect proper policies, and tackled successfully ethnic issues and relations. His explorations were a great help to the establishment and initial formation of the CPC＇ s ethnic theory and policy.
