Seeing the Yuan Dynasty＇ s ending and Ming＇s starting, Song Lian was praised as the head of the civilians of the Ming Dynasty. His moral articles were the best at that time and his fables developed his own style. They inherited the good traditions of the Earlier Qing Dynasty, the Han Dynasties, and the Tang and the Song Dynasties. These fables revealed the dark reality, satirized the ugly phenomena, blazoned forth the Confucius and Mencius＇ thoughts, and served as the bailment of people＇ s ideals.
