张惠言《周易虞氏消息》研究

Reviewing and commenting on ZHANG Hui-yan's Zhouyi YU shi Xiaoxi

《周易虞氏消息》一书,是张惠言对孔子—商瞿—田王孙—孟喜—虞翻一系"易阴阳大义"发掘的代表性成果。其内容主要描述了以"乾元"为源头和动力的阴阳流转的过程,即"乾元"的潜存、展开和回归。该书的价值,本文认为,在于启发我们看到虞翻易学的两层结构:"取象释辞说"与"卦变消息说"。不足之处在于,虞翻释《易》的重心是放在对"观象系辞"思路的逆向呈现上,由此以见"辞"与"象"的关联,"卦变消息"仅是实现这一探索的工具。而张氏为了阐述虞翻易学与孟喜易学的一脉相承,则以"卦变消息"为虞翻易学的精髓。两者的不同,反映出清人的汉易研究与汉易本身的区别。

Zhouyi Yi shi Xiaoxi thored by ZHANG Hui-yan, is （YU Fan＇s Theory for the Waxing a representative achievement at that Waning of Yin-yang in Zhouyi）, autime, in which ZHANG elaborated the theory of the profound purport of Yin-yang alternation in Zhouyi derived from the lineage of Confucius SHANG Qu MENG Xi YU Fan. The book mainly introduces the cycle of Yin-yang alternation, with Qian yuan （originality of Qian symbolizing heaven） as the source and motive force. The course includes Qian yuan＇ s lying hid, unfolding, and returning. As far as this paper＇value is concerned, this paper points out that it lies in its revelation of the two-layer structure in YU＇s Yi-ology.. interpreting the statements by images and accounting the hexagrams＇ transformation for the waxing ＆ waning of Yin-yang. An obvious defect of this book lies in that Zhang treats the latter as the core of YU＇ Yi-ology so as to emphasize the transmission line from Meng Xi to Yu Fan. As a matter of fact, YU Fan stresses the association of the statements with the images, whereas the Yin-yang waxing and waning theory is just a tool to account for his exegesis. The difference between them reflects the distinction between the Han Yi in the Qing scholar＇s view and the Han Yi itself.
