Meta-analysis on the safety of breast-feeding on the infants of HBV carrier mothers

目的:探讨HBV携带产妇喂养方式与婴儿感染HBV的关系。方法:通过系统的文献检索搜集所有相关文献,按照纳入标准筛选出符合标准的文献进行Meta分析,对各研究结果进行异质性检验并计算合并OR值及95%可信区间,用Re-viewManager 4.2分析软件进行统计分析,综合评价分析HBV携带产妇喂养方式对婴儿感染HBV的影响。结果:符合纳入标准的文献共13篇,总样本量1 778例,母乳喂养组965例,感染HBV 121例,人工喂养组813例,感染HBV 51例,合并OR=1.68,95%CI为(1.16,2.44)。结论:HBV携带产妇喂养方式与婴儿感染HBV呈正相关,HBV携带产妇母乳喂养可能增加婴儿HBV的感染率。

Objective： To explore the relationship between the feeding methods of HBV carrier mothers and infants＇infection of hepatitis B. Methods： Related literatures were collected by systematic literature search. Meta - analysis was applied to the selected literatures which measured up to the criteria. The heterogeneity across the studied results was checked. The pooled OR and 95% confidence interval were calculated. The meta - analysis software, review manager 4. 2, was applied for statistical analysis. The influence of HBV carrier mothers＇different feeding modes on the infection of hepatitis B in infants was overall evaluated. Results： A total of 1 778 cases from 13 studies, which measured up to the criteria, were included. The breast - feeding cases were 965, from which 121 HBV infection cases; while 813 bottle - feeding, from which 51 HBV infection cases. The pooled OR value was 1.68 with 95% confidence interval ranged from 1.16 to 2. 44. Conclusion ： The different feeding modes on the infants of HBV carrier mothers are positively correlated with the infection of hepatitis B in infants. Breast - feeding of HBV carrier mothers could increase the infection rate of hepatitis B in infants.
