论怀特海的教育目的观

Whitehead is the founder of process philosophy of education. His educational aim is to produce the expert without loss of essential virtues of the amateur, in other words, to produce the persons who possess both basic and professional knowledge in some special direction. The realistic gist of the idea is Whitehead＇s experience. The philosophy foundation of the idea is process philosophy. Whitehead＇s idea about educational aim transcends a lot of educational theories. Whitehead＇s educational aim idea and its historical significance are analyzed.
