元杂剧中的“预示”与“延宕”艺术管窥——兼与西方戏剧比较

A Probe into the Foretelling and Delay in Zaju of Yuan Dynasty —In Comparison to Western Drama

悬念是戏剧吸引观众观赏的最大魔力,戏剧艺术归根结蒂乃是一门"悬念"的艺术。然而戏剧悬念需要戏剧家的匠心运思,尤其有赖于戏剧家对设置悬念的创作技巧、表现手法的精妙运用。本文以西文戏剧为参照,运用比研究的方法,就设置悬念的两种重要技巧、手法——"预示"与"延宕"在元杂剧中的运用问题予以粗略探案,借此探寻中西方戏剧叙事学领域存在的某种相通、相似的共同性规律。

Suspense in drama is the most effective technique in appealing to audience. Drama art is at the root the art of suspense, which requires the playwrights to be ingenious and skillfully apply the artistic techniques of expression and setting suspense. This paper, by making a comparison between Zaju of Yuan dynasty and Western drama, studies the two techniques of setting suspense in Zaju foretelling and delay, thereby to explore the common law in the field of stage narration in Chinese and Western drama.
