SV40 early promoter,two CMV immediate early promoters and Mo MLV LTR promot er were screened for the ability to direct efficient transient expression of HBsAg and CAT gene in CHO cells.Either the CMV 2.1kb promoter or CMV 0.75kb promoter leads to 10 to 40 folds more efficient expression of foreign gene than the SV40 early promoter and MoMLVLTR promoter did.
