Exploring on The Life Cycle and Artificial Breeding of Eel (Anguilla)

鳗鲡（Ａｎｇｕｉｌａ）是逆河降海的洄游性鱼类，一个多世纪以来，其生活史问题一直是不解之谜，早已成为一道世界名题。随着鳗鲡养殖业的发展，人们正努力探索鳗鲡的人工育苗技术。本文总结了鳗鲡的生活史、种类、分布、产卵地、人工育苗技术等问题的研究情况。

Abstract Eel, Anguilla, is a kind of transoceanic migration fish, growing in fresh rivers and spawning in deep occeans. For a century, the life cycle and artificial breeding of eel has been remained a mystery and a famous difficult question in the world. With the development of eel culture, the artificial breeding of eel was exploring by many researchers. This paper sum up and discuss the progress in study on eel species, distribution, spawning grounds and artificial breeding and so on problems, respectively.
