Environmental Ethical Consideration on Organic Contamination of Groundwater

The paper mainly introduces current status of organic contamination in groundwater, and combines the tenet, mainstream and proposition of environmental ethics to discuss the origin of the problem. The result indicates that organic contamination in groundwater is caused by destroying the harmony between human and nature during human＇s production practice, and disobeying the environmental ethics. In order to reach the harmony between human and nature, and sustainable development, effective control and remediation of organic contamination in groundwater must be carried out.
