The concepts of vague set ideal alternative and projection of each alternative on the vague set ideal alternative are defined. A new method projection method is proposed for multi-attribute decision making based on vague set, all alternatives are ranked using the projection of each alternative on the vague set ideal alternative and the best one is selected, which will provide a useful tool for decision system. An example is given to demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
