With the development of online teaching, people pay more and more attention to the basic environment based on networks. The construction of online learning environment should be highlighted. The design principles of basic self- study environment based on networks are analyzed and a sample environment is built. The most important module in the environment is detailed so as to provide some constructive ideas on online learning.
