Based on the computer software intellectual property protection in IT education of primary and secondary schools,a research is made of the status quo and future develoeopment of open source software in primary and secondary schools. According to the current situation of IT acceptability in China＇s primary and secondary schools ,the advantages of open source software are pointed out in IT education of primary and secondary schools.
