Experiences of Linking Up Higher Education along with Capital Market in Developed Countries

在市场经济条件下,资本市场有效地连接着资金的供求双方,其强大的筹资功能可以为高等教育发展募集大量资金,同时高等教育的发展也将为资本市场带来新的利润增长点。通过借鉴欧美发达国家利用股票、债券、基金等途径筹资的经验和成功模式,力求对创建适合我国国情的高等教育筹资体制有所帮助。

With the continual expansion in the scale of higher education, the shortage of funds for investment in higher education has become an international problem, which is especially evident in China. In market economy, capital market is the link between funds of supply-parties and demand-parties. Its powerful function of fund raising can collect large amount funds for higher education. At the same time, the development of higher education and its relative industry can bring capital market growth in profits and vigor in development. This paper analyzes actuality and experiences of linking up higher education along with its relative industry and capital market in developed countries. These experiences can be of strategic significance for improvement of higher education and promotion of human capital investment in China.
