新闻伦理是业内适应新闻活动特点而形成的要求自己"应当如何"的自律规范,及公众认为该业在新闻活动中"应当如何"的观念和舆论约束。新闻工作者违反新闻伦理的行为,同与受众、有关当事人、竞争对手的关系失衡有关。因此,必须力戒违背新闻伦理的行为,努力做到:将新闻伦理规范内化成从业者的精神品质;既有关于新闻伦理的原则性规约,又根据新闻活动的要求将有关规约具体化;形成有利于媒体坚守新闻伦理的社会氛围,实施有效的媒体纠错机制。

Press ethic is both the norms with which the press discipline themsevles according to characteristics of press activities and the public restrictions on the press in press activities. Journalists＂ press ethic offences of is related to the unbalance in their relationips with the audience, the persons concerned and rivals. Therefore, press ethic offences must be strictly avoided in an effort to internalize press ethic into journalists＂ qualities, to specialize related principle norms according to requirements for press activities, and to perform an effective media correction mechanism.
