Regional Return of the Contemporary Architectural Creation——Baotou Convention & Exhibition Center Program

本文阐述了传统建筑的地域性表现和现代建筑的特质,提出现代建筑应继承传统地域建筑中"适应性"内涵的设计思想,以实现现代建筑创作的地域性拓展,并以包头会展中心方案为例,探讨现代建筑创作表征地域性的应对策略。

This paper described the regional performance of the traditional architecture as well as the characteristic of modern architecture, and pointed out that modern architecture should inherit the concept of ＂adaptability＂ of traditional regional architecture in order to realize regional expansion. It also took Baotou Convention ＆ Exhibition Center Program as an example and discussed the strategies of regionality in modern architectural creation.
