摘要
通过梳理"补偿"概念的提出与发展,结合对诗歌翻译中缺失现象的分析,尝试对翻译过程中"补偿"的理论观点进一步做出解释,廓清诗歌翻译中缺失与"补偿"的关系。认为诗歌翻译过程中要追求音韵、结构、意向的重构,但是音、形、意的缺失在所难免,为此译者要灵活运用"补偿"策略尽可能达到原诗与译诗在这三方面的对等。
The relationship between loss and compensation in poetry translation is discussed. With a summary of the origin and development of the concept compensation in translation, based on the analysis of loss in poetry translation, the author attempts to ex- plain the concept compensation in translation process, to define the relationship between loss and compensation. It is concluded that though the loss of rhythm or sound pattern, structure, ideas is more or less unavoidable, the translator should flexibly use the strategy compensation to reconsturet in the translation process to achieve the equivalence in these three aspects.
