摘要
从东汉至今,班夫人献粟助马援南征交趾的事迹广泛流传于桂西南凭祥、龙州、崇左、扶绥等地区,班夫人助马援的义举有助于帮助中央政府恢复对桂西南地区地方社会秩序的管理。她死后被民众奉为神灵,立庙祭祀,以求赐福祛灾。在祭祀的过程中,她的义举不断被民众复述,持续地传承和强化着民众对那段历史的集体记忆。中央政府的敕封既是对她行为的褒奖,更是借助地方女性神灵的力量来维护地方秩序的一种手段。
Historically from East Han Dynasty, the stow of Mrs. Ban donating corn to help Ma Yuan to fight in Jiaozi has been most popular in Ping,dang, Longzhou, Chongzuo, Fusui, etc, southwest of Guangxi. Her great deeds helped the central government re-govern Southwest Gui. Regarding her as a goddess, people built a temple for her after her death, and offered sacrifices from time to time, during which her good deeds were told. The conferring from the central government was a reward for her deeds, and more importantly, was to keep local order through her power.
