摘要 通识教育视野下的大学公共外语课程绝不仅仅是一个使用工具,而应该发挥出帮助学生获取语言文化和通识性知识以及培养中外交流综合性能力的教育作用。本文试以清华大学为个案,探讨在通识教育的视野下大学公共外语课程的角色、地位以及实施策略。 Foreign language is not only the carrier of cultures, thoughts and literatures of foreign countries, but also the bridge and window of communication between China and foreign countries. Foreign language curriculum is not merely a tool, but should be used to play its educational role in cultivating students to possess cultural understanding, communicative ability and integrative knowledge, besides language itself. This paper tries to take Tsinghua University as the case study, to discuss the role, status and implementing strategies of foreign language curriculum from the perspective of General Education
