The paper analyzes the alkaline aggregate reaction （AAR） in cement concrete leading to failure of the concrete from the alkaline＇ s source and diagnosis of reasons for its failure of concrete, the precautions for them as well as the methods judging the possibility producing such failure, and puts forward the measures for mending it in a project.
