A Survey of Research Methods for the Study of Industrial Organization

中国的产业经济学是设置较早的学科之一,但其概念和范围一直与西方产业组织学有较大的差异。作为产业经济学中一部分的产业组织学在中国近年来得到迅速发展,但对产业组织学研究的内容、方法,国内学术界往往仍停留在哈佛学派和博弈论的讨论上。通过最近几年西方产业组织学权威杂志《国际产业组织学》所发表文章,对国际产业组织学的研究方法进行归纳。通过对研究方法的探讨,另辟蹊路对产业组织学最新发展作一总结。

Although industrial economics is one of the subjects offered in institutes of higher education in China, neither the conception nor the scope of industrial economics is consistent with that of western industrial economics. The fact that industrial organization is developing quickly in China in recent years re- quires that the content and research methods be studies more thoroughly. This article is an attempt to summarize the research methods for the study of industrial organization by reviewing articles published in International Journal of Industrial Organization from 2000.
