四川白玉、巴塘县间5.5级地震的短临预报依据、过程和防灾决策

Short-Impending Prediction Criterion, Process and Disaster Preparedness of Baiyu-Batang M5.5 Earthquake in Sichuan

1996年12月21日在四川省白玉、巴塘县间发生了5．5级地震。文中给出了主震和余震序列的参数及震源机制解结果，分析了前兆异常特征和短临预报依据。这次地震前地震部门有准确的短临预报，并且省、地、县各级政府采取了系列防震减灾措施。

An M5. 5 earthquake ocurred in Baiyu-Batang area, Sichuan Province on December 21, 1996. Parameters of the main shock and aftershock sequence and the result of focal mechanism soluton are given while characteristics of precursor anomaly and short-impending prediction criterion are analysed in the paper. The seismological department had accurate prediction before the earthquke and governments of the province, the prefecture and counties took series of disaster countermeasures.
