This paper illustrates connotations of knowledge management and the essence of the core competence of enterprises. And the importance of knowledge management has been discussed. Then competence strengthen can be created and the core competence of enterprises can be raised by knowledge management. At last, some factors that knowledge management need has been given, so enterprises can refer if they adjust and reform knowledge management.
