VPN,which makes use of common network as data transfer, provides a low cost model of constituting network. this thesis has accomplished remote access to LAN＇s resources by using the basic theory and technology of VPN, under no adding hardware conditions, which satisfies the current demands of the persons working at other places in the fields such as education, scientific research, corporation and so on.
