摘要
文章考察了过去数十年间北美两代批评家在建筑学科视角上的巨大分野,即从批判理论向实践创新的转变,并指出为了清除理论对创新文化的阻碍.必须向"作坊"式的小型事务所学习,向商业创新方法学习,以建立起一种基于新的市场条件和技术状况的建筑实践的知识框架。
The essay studies the different perspectives on architectural discipline between two generations of Northern American critics namely a transformation from the critical theory to the innovative practice. It indicates that in order to remove the encumbrance to the nnovative culture by the theory of＂new truth architects should learn from the ＂workshop of small offices, from the business innovative methodology, so as to construct an ＂intellectua frame work＂ for a new architectural practice based on market and new technology conditions.
