近年来.随着国内房地产开发的日趋成熟,小区建筑在质量提高的基础上日趋要求某种文化内涵的注入,由此诞生的龙山教堂近来亦倍受业内人士和媒介的关注与好评。然而,在一个中国住宅小区内建造一座教堂意义何在?它的设计理念如何表达?在建造上又是如何处理?文章试图从文化和建筑本身展开对这个小教堂的研究和讨论,求同存异,从中寻找它潜藏的复杂与矛盾。

Today as the exploiture of real estate in China becoming more and more mature, cultural meaning is gradually demanded by the construction of uptown on the base of quality improvement. With this background the birth of Longshan Chapel got much attention and praise. However, What does it mean to build a chapel in a Chinese uptown？ How did its concept of design been expressed？ And how did the designers manage in the construction？ The author wants to make a research from the culture and the architecture itself to find the complication and contradiction in the plain chapel.
