汤显祖与新城(黎川)邓远游

Tang Xianzu and XinCheng's Deng Yuanyou

对汤显祖交游的研究,新城的邓远游(名渼)是汤晚年至为重要的忘年交,但论及者寥寥。汤的诗文涉及与邓的交往仅存三篇,但记下了他们结识的时间与因由,及他们在政治理想、诗文主张与品格爱好方面的声气相投。在汤去世的前四年,邓第二次探汤,并在玉茗堂从冬至住到翌年立夏,"尊酒疏灯,上下今昔",论文作诗,此等交谊难有第二人可匹。这半年,汤每逢时令佳节为邓作诗达十四首,他们欢娱的情景与深厚的情谊于斯概见。

The research into Tang Xianzu＇ s circle of friends shows that Deng Yuanyou is one of Tang＇ s best friends despite great difference in age, but was rarely referred to. Tang＇ s poems and articles concerning his association with Deng have only three and bear the account of the time of their first meeting and the reason for that, as well as the identity in their political views, literature advocacy, personality and preferences. Four years before Tang＇ s death when Deng paid a second visit to Tang, he lived in Yumingtang for half a year, from the winter solstice to the next Beginning of Summer, sharing ideas with Tang about different aspects of history over wine and by a lamp. There exists no match for such friendship. During that time, the poems Tang wrote for Deng every time a festival was observed add up to as many as fourteen, which shows us the extremely deep feelings between them and their happy getting together.
