处于社会转型、机制转轨的当代中国社会,见义勇为者的行为实为拯救社会良知的英雄壮举,其在社会道德教化中的正面示范作用显而易见。但"英雄流血,家人流泪"的悲剧一再上演,其负面社会影响也日益增强。因此,建立见义勇为损害结果社会补偿机制,已成为扭转社会道德风尚刻不容缓的现实需要。这一机制的建立健全,可为建设社会主义和谐社会奠定坚实的道德基础,有极其重要的社会价值。

In the contemporary Chinese society characteristic of social transformation and switch of mechanisms, heroic acts are feats to wake up social conscience and set a positive style in the ideological and moral education. However, the tragedy of ＂the heroes bleed, the family shed tears＂ has happened times and times again and its negative influence is becoming more and more serious. Therefore, it is an urgent task to set up a social mechanism for the compensation of harms done to the heroes. The construction and perfection of this mechanism will help to lay a solid moral foundation for a harmonious socialist society with an important social value.
