By calculating and analyzing,the effects of the thermal stress of new specification on the strands layout of prestressed con- crete continuous beam is revealed.The analysis on how to arrange the geometrical shape of the strands to reduce disadvantageous in- fluence of the second moment of the prestress is made too.
