摘要
苔丝与珍妮都是美丽纯洁的贫民女子,但她们的结局都很悲惨。她们的悲剧命运有着很多相似之处,贫富差距巨大的资本主义社会,男权社会,虚伪的宗教伦理是造成她们悲剧的原因。但有所不同的是苔丝更具有反抗精神这使得她的命运更为悲壮。
Tess and Jenny are poor girls,they are beautiful and pure but they have wretched lives. Their tragic destiny have some similairities.The capitalism, patriarchal power and hypothetical ethic are the causes of the tragedies. But Tess is more rebellious, it makes her life more misrable.
