摘要
英语是当前国际上广泛使用的交际语言,随着我国综合国力的提高,参与国际交流、合作、贸易的机会增加,越来越多的国民意识到英语的重要性。人们对英语应用功能的需求使英语教学由研究型—语言知识教学转向应用型—语言应用技能教学。语言是交际的工具,同时也是文化的载体;语言应用能力既涉及语言知识和语用知识,又包括目的语文化知识。因此,"运用英语有效交流"的能力实际上是一种跨文化交际能力。在大学英语教学中教师应注意对学生跨文化交际能力的培养。
English is the widespread communicative language internationally at present. With China's improve in comprehensive national strength and the increase in participation in international exchanges, cooperation, and trade opportunities, more and more people become aware of the importance of English. People's need of application of English forces English teaching to transform from "research"—language knowledge teaching to "application"--language application skills teaching. Language is a tool for communication, but also the carrier of culture; Language application skill involves both language knowledge and pragmatic knowledge, and also includes cultural knowledge of the target language. Therefore, the ability of effective use of English, in fact, is a kind of cross-cultural communicative competence. In college English teaching, teachers should pay attention to the training of the students' cross-cultural communicative ability
