MMP-9在骨巨细胞瘤中的表达及其临床意义

Expression and clinical significance of matrix metalloproteinase-9 in human giant cell tumor of bone

目的:研究MMP-9在骨巨细胞瘤组织中的表达,探讨其与临床病理资料及预后的关系。方法:运用免疫组织化学S-P法,检测MMP-9在36例骨巨细胞瘤中的表达,分析其与肿瘤临床病理资料及Jaffe分级、Enneking分期和复发的关系。结果:MMP-9在骨巨细胞瘤中阳性表达率为63.8%,但阳性表达与患者性别、年龄、肿瘤发生部位等因素无关;在Jaffe分级中Ⅱ、Ⅲ级阳性表达率明显高于Ⅰ级,但组间差异无显著性(P>0.05);按Enneking分期随级别升高阳性表达率明显升高,差异有显著性(P<0.05);复发组的MMP-9阳性表达率显著高于未复发组,差异明显(P<0.01)。结论:MMP-9在骨巨细胞瘤中的表达与肿瘤的En-neking分级及肿瘤的复发有一定的关系,MMP-9过表达可作为预测骨巨细胞瘤复发的一项重要指标。

To investigate the expression level of MMP-9 in giant cell tumor （GCT）of bones and its relationship to the tumor clinical pathology and prognosis. Methods： To detect the expression level of MMP - 9 in 36 cases of giant cell tumor of bones by using S - P immuohistochemistry, and analyze its relationship with the clinical pathology information, Jaffe grading, Enneking grading and the recurrence. Results. Over expression rate of MMP - 9 was found in the GCT cases, the positive rate was 63.8 %, no difference of the expression level of MMP - 9 was found in the cases of GCT by Jaffe grading（ P 〉 0.05 ）, tumor of Enneking stage Ⅱ、Ⅲ had higher expression rate than the stage I （ P 〈 0.05）. The recurrence cases had higher expression rate than the cases without recurrence significantly（P 〈0.05）. Conclusion： Over expression of MMP- 9 can be used as a possible prognostic indicator of tumor recurrence.
