双折射外腔双频激光器光回馈

Optical feedback in dual frequency lasers with birefringent external cavity

摘要 为了研究双频激光器的光回馈特性,采用双折射外腔光回馈的方法,进行了理论分析和实验验证,取得了双频激光器中条纹倍频现象的数据。结果表明,光回馈系统分辨率提高了1倍,同时利用双频激光器两垂直偏振光间的模竞争,使得倍频条纹的调制幅度明显增大,从而使得光回馈系统的灵敏度大大提高。实验结果与理论分析吻合,这对提高光回馈系统的分辨率是有帮助的。 In order to study the optical feedback characteristics of the dual frequency laser, a birefringent external cavity was studied throughboth theoretical analysis and experiments. In the experiments,the phenomenon of the fringe frequency doubled was observed. It was found that the resolution of the optical feedback system was doubled and the sensitivity of the optical feedback system was also improved after the modes competition between both the polarized light beams. The work is useful for improving the resolution of the optical feedback systems.
