This article is intended to indicate the formation and development of English ceramic artistic tradition by analyzing the creation of ceramic arts by generations of ceramic artists, especially the artist Rupert. Finally the article drew the conclusion that the English ceramic artists tend to reflect their thinking of individualism through works of ceramic art.
