护理要从以疾病为中心转向以病人为中心

The necessity of the transformation from “everything for the disease” to “everything for the patient”

目前，我国护理工作仍是以疾病为中心，随着医学模式的转变，必须转向以病人为中心，只有这样，才能提高护理管理和服务水平，满足人民群众的需要。为此，应推行整体护理，故当前：统一认识，加强领导；突出重点，抓关键；求实稳妥，循序渐进；建立护工制，解放护士劳动力；加强协作。

At present, the nursing care in China is still on the old track of “everything for the disease”. With the change of medical model, the transformation to “everything for the patient” is to be practised. Only in this way can the level of nursing administration upgraded to satisfy the health need of the people. Obviously, holistic nursing should be extensively popularized. Under the circumstances, steps should be taken to strengthen the leadership, to form social consensus, to grasp the key links, to make slow but sure progress along the new track, to set up nursing maid system to free nurses from over burdened workload and to raise the quality of nursing work through intensive coordination.
