摘要
动机是决定不同学习者取得不同程度成功的主要因素之一.学习动机研究从Gardner和Lambert的经典模式到后来的扩展模式,经历了从社会心理学视角到20世纪80年代末的多元化、多视角的研究阶段.从英语学习动机的基本理论入手,讨论了我国二语学习动机的两个阶段,并对近年来国内英语学习动机研究的新突破做了介绍.
Motivation is one of the most significant ingredients for different learners' success. Most studies on Chinese students' English learning motivations followed the classical model (Gardner & Lambert 1972, Gardner 1985 ) and the expansions ( Tremblay et al. 1995 ), which developed from the single visual angle of social psychology to a many-faceted research period. Starting from the basic theories of English learning motivation, two periods of second language acquisition ( SLA ) in China are discussed and the new breakthrough in recent years is introduced.
