On Translation of Common Placenames and Addresses in Yiwu

随着义乌经济的飞速发展，以及义乌城市的开放性和包容性，Yiwu这个名词已被世界200多个国家和地区所接纳，几乎成了小商品的代名词。文章从地名翻译的原则入手，分析义乌常用地址的翻译方法，并提出一些可接受的规范翻译的建议。

With Yiwu＇s economy developing rapidly and the city opening more widely to the outside world and more embracive, the word Yiwu is becoming a well - known word accepted by more than 200 countries and regions, almost a pronoun of commodities. This paper analyses some methods for translation of common addresses and gives some acceptable suggestions on translation based on some address translation rules.
