Soaring oil prices, energy security and environmental concerns have all concentrated minds that matter on renewable fuels, Diesel currently powers 35-40 per cent of Europe＇s vehicles. As transport mushrooms, so will the emissions of noxious gases, black smoke and particulates, especially from older motors - unless a solution is found in biofuels.
