Some recent studies of the structure and properties of liquid metals and glasses are summarized, A generalized description is presented of the interatomic interaction potentials and structures of liquid metals, as well as of the physical properties and an interpretation of metal nonmetal transition for binary liquid alloys, and a microscopic description of the structure, melting and relaxation of glasses.
