With the continuous changes of the social situations in the 21st century, the students＇ education and management work in Chinese colleges and universities is confronting higher requirements and severe challenges. The paper analyses the problems of the present students＇ education and management work in Chinese colleges and universities and puts forward helpful suggestions on instuctors＇ students＇ ideological education in the new century from the aspects of setting up new concepts, mastering new knowledge, putting new strategies into practice and establishing the new patterns of relationship between students and counselors.
