As one of the founders of modern liberalism, Benjamin Constant＇ s power theory concerns the source and exercising of power, and concerns the limit and the restriction of power. Benjamin Constant＇ s power theory has the tendency of combing democracy and constitutionalism. It couldn＇ t completely combine democracy and constitutionalism together, because of the tension between democracy and constltutionalism.
