Medical Reform in Rural Area

建立农村新型合作医疗制度是一项旨在促进社会公平、协调发展的战略性政策,对于缩小城乡差距、扭转不平衡的社会发展结构、构建和谐社会具有积极意义。各地在试点过程中遇到了一些制约因素,也取得一定的成绩。今后应从探索稳定的医疗筹资机制、规范基金的结算与使用、加强农村医药体系建设等方面完善新型农村合作医疗改革。

To establish new cooperative medical system in rural area is a strategic policy that aims to promote social equality and coordinate development. It plays a significant role in narrowing the gap between urban and rural area, eliminating the unbalanced structure of social development, and building a harmonious society. During the experimental process, cooperative medical system has come across some restrictive factors, though it has made some achievements. In the future the new cooperative medical system has to be improved by finding stable funding mechanism, standardizing the settlement and use of fund and strengthening the construction of pharmaceutical system.
